Creating this website takes me back in time to 10-15 years ago when I used to code website during the night.
For this website I used wordpress for content management. I installed the “BlankSlate” template which is a template without styling. I then coded the PHP and CSS to obtain the current result. I think this is a good solution as it enables me full customization while benefiting from all the data infrastructure (post, page and comments).
The picture on the top was originally drawn by my fiancée Seungyeon. I then added details in the picture to match each sections. I think these profile pictures add some soul to the website. Now I just need to make some good content.
Regarding the file inspired menu on top this idea also dates back a few year ago when I started (but never finished) building a website about my photo taken while scuba diving. I think it is cool and intuitive while being coded with CSS only. Doing this I realized how much more CSS features have been added during this time ! A special thank to the :has() selector which saved the day.
